Well thakfully none of my girls look like that,Iam growing outdoors so ye can understand why Iam worrying
But iam at a cross roads,Harvest now or wait a little longer :harvest:
Ive been checking them every day.As ye might know by some of my other treads ive had some of my pistils turning purple due to cooling temps
So,so far about 20% of the pistils are a purplish-pink
About 15-20% are turning brown, starting at the tip and working there way down
About 60-65% are still white
Some of the oval shaped sacks that the pistils are coming out of look swollen, but the only the odd one
Ive looked at a sample under 100x microscope. The tricomes are tall with a football like head. The stem(for want of a better word)is about 4 times longer than the football like head,They were about 75/25 on clear and cloudy. But on that sample the pistils were still white
I have a sample drying since monday evening,so hopefully it should be ready by Saturday:bong:
Now,If I was growing indoors id wait till more pistils turn brown and for the tricomes to turn cloudy but........and this is a big but
Its getting cold.Day time temps 13-15 c and at night its dropping to as low as 4-5 c:confused:
I dont know what the exact conditions are needed for Mould to flourish. Its been dry for the last week but cold, with a healthy breeze to aid drying conditions on the ground. But drizzle and showers are due for the weekend
Ive been warned by the guy who sold them to me to harvest before October,I was also warned by a lad on the forum about the dangers of mould and he suggested not to leave it to far into October
Iam gonna Harvest:banghead: Ive just been writting this message and its just hit me.Be a man, make the decision
What am i bitching about:sorry: Saturday will probably be the best time for me to harvest,so iam gonna do it
Thanks u guys:):mr:

I would tend to keep an eye on the weather ahead and if it turns mild i would try and last out a week or two more for best results. But if it stays cold or gets colder then i would do like you say and chop saturday. Good luck with it mate. :weed:
Will you post up any pic's of the chopped buds? :headbang:

I went to work this morning and 2 of the lads told me they had to scrape ice off there windscreens when they went to there cars:shocked:
So iam Harvesting this evening:confused:I dont think its worth the risk and Iam pretty sure the girls wont like frost either:omg:For reasons that I wont go into,I have to do this late tonight and I wont be doing the full operation tonight. But over a few days
As a friend of mine says "Its all a learning curve"
My camera isnt great Quality but ill photo the whole procedure,I can get a better quality camera tomorrow. So exspect good and bad photos
Kepp it growing people:guitar:

Well we started the harvest last night
Cut down the girls and started trimming. It took us 1 1/2hours to do 1 plant.
Damn its labour intensive.:banghead:We still have to trim the other 5 plants properly but for the time being there all on close lines drying while we get around to them one by one.
So far, between chopping them down Trimming one girl.Packaging them for transport to our make shift processing site, cleaning up the mess,Setting up our drying lines and hanging everything.............8 hours labour.............with a guestimated 12 hours more labour to go..............:jawdrop:
Ive posted some photos from last night and ill post more as I go:cowboy:
