seen these in tesco earlyer.
first 1 is an owl electricity monitor,would be ideal if you wanted to know how much your grow's costing to run

I use some really cheap digi timers from them.
Were about a fiver, are really easy to program and work perfectly.

I got my timers from poundland and they work great, i use one for a 600w h.p.s without a contractor and have never had any problems with it, my mate paid a tenna for a grasslin timer and it wouldnt switch on/off a 250w h.p.s(it would turn his extractor on/off), so i told him to try a poundland one and it works fine, iv got loads of these timers just incase they stop makin em, you cant go wrong for a pound, iv been using 6of them in my grow for nearly a year now every day non stop and had not a single problem with them. plus theyv got a little red light on them to tell you if its on or off(makes it easier to check timers are working or if your lights have gone off). I.m.o great value and being a poundland item its really well made

Your running a fire risk mate, altho it may be working fine... You need a contactor my friend whether you think so or not... 600w going through them points in the timer, be like a welding rod arcing the electricity.

Iv never used a contractor, and know plenty other people who dont, iv done numerous grows without, all in all im using 9plug sockets for my 2grows and 2of them are hid lights on poundland timers without contractors, both grows in the same flat and constantly running.
