See attached my plant grown under fl for 1 month ( Bad Start )
Then been under a HPS for 3 week 24/24.
I have flimmed the plant 1 week ago to try to get it to bush out.
Any ideas as i thought it would be getting close to stick on 12/12.
:help:
you should defo keep it in veg m8 to let it grow some more

should i have a fan blowing directly at the plant?
yes m8 as the fan will strengthen the stem, i personaly think you defo need a fan at all times as outside it would be windy and after all your trying to creat the same conditions as outdoors - indoors

It may be small but it looks very healthy and happy at the moment, and i would really veg it some more before flowering it.
Do you have any idea what strain it is?
Also you dont have to have the fan directly blowing at the plant, if it is in an enclosed environment ie a tent the breeze still gets around..as my fan doesnt have a speed control :( i have my fan facing the edge wall of the tent so im not directly stressing them with full force gale *laughs*
What pot size is this in and are you planning on repotting before going into flower or are you planning on flowering in what its in at the moment?
Also is this just under a light in a free open space where the lumens can run off and play or is it in a tent? :D

A bit more info would help a lot in this case.
As a rough, rough guide you would try to grow it to 1/3 to 1/2 of the size you want it to finish at. But the longer you give them in vege - the better the rewards.

Ok I have Repotted the plant and going to give it another 2 week on 24hr.
Attached some piccys. before repot asnd affter
you might want to give it a wee down time buddy ;)
turning yer timer to 18/6 will give them a chance to convert energy to sugars and stuff and is a more natural way for them but 24 works
just my 2p worth ;)

It is just a personal preference but I happen to agree with Lewy, it just seems to me that they need some dark time to recover etc.
24 hrs of light for weeks at a time just isn't natural but some members swear by it. I know that Asci for example goes 24/0 and his results are always excellent so i'm certainly not dissing it.
best advice is try it out if you're thinking along them lines & make your own mind up.

I can't give my pennys worth on downtime yet as I recently switched over to 24hr light in my veg box opposed to the 18/6 i used to keep it on as I'm just a copy cat and copying BomShiva *chuckles*
I am no expert, but have read a lot of stuff and as far as I can tell, they plants need some dark to generate a growth hormone, this is broken down as growth occues durinf the light hours. But as it has been said, some growers swear by it, so ull have to suck it and see.

I had a conversation with Bomshiva in chat about this earlier and although he uses 24 hour light cycle OT swears by 20/4 for good root growth :) I dont have a spare timer at moment so they are staying on 24 *laughs*
Ive been leaving main light on 18 hrs and led panel 24 hrs in the same room and plants seem to be happy bunnies.

Your whole setup and strategy looks pretty bizarre to me.
More information is required. Give us the whole picture and we may be able to help you.
Starting from the very beginning and proceeding in sequential order, please.

its the second stage in a plants life(seedling being the first) when it focus on geting tall and producing a nice frame work for the buds to form. in veg stage u want your lights on 16/8 or 24/0 or 18/6 light dark the third stage is flowing where you put your lights on to 12/12:cowboy:

Hi mate,
After just looking at your pic mate, i would move your desk fan back alittle bit and have it pointing just above your plant top but blowing the heat from the light away from your plant. That way you won't stress your plant by drying it out or getting wind burn off the fan because it is to close and direct at the plant. You should find that she will grow faster to.
As for more vegging, you really want to aim to get some side branches sticking out abit more before going 12/12.
Do you have extraction in your tent mate and what are your temps running at in there mate?
She's coming along nicely though mate. :weed:
