View Full Version : how to make a hermie
hi all,
i have decided to try something different for a change, lemon stinkies as opposed to orang bud, but still have two clones that have just rooted. i would like to make them hermie so i can harvest the seeds.
i thought i would keep switching one flower-veg-flower, and the other try to make the PH vary by using PH up/down.
can anyone reccomend a schedule, or a better way?
i have read the article about collodial silver, but want to try this first

hey wert,
would this work?http://www.auravita.com/product/Premium-True-Colloidal-Silver-Liquid-Spray-Pump.NAGO10232.html?RefId=220&adid=NAGO10232
it seems much easier than making it (for those that don't have too much time)

hi katy i would be looking at spraying 40 ppm first 2 weeks BEFORE 12/12 then 60 ppm after that until you see male flowers forming then stop spraying.. that is 10-12 ppm if i have read it right and may not be up to the job:)
I just used 20ppm to great success. I sprayed every day or so for a few days before I noticed a male flower coming through. I kept spraying for 2 weeks until it released the pollen.
hey
i went for the silver after reading about it's health propeties. i don't take any prescrition drugs, especially antibiotics, but have a nagging infection, so i want to see if it works.
anyhow, how often do you spray the plants?
i am using a cutting that came from a flowering plant (tactical nescessity), it's only just started growing and there are some female flowers present.
how long do you think i need to keep this on 18/6/
