I grew these last year, they're Romano peppers, JI2 + perite and loads of sun, they don't like the cold. Expect to harvest from end of July to August, feed with tomato food when fruiting.

I've got some of my own jaladuro f1 x cayenne seeds in my airing cupboard right now, not popped yet but I'm planning on doing something with them :)

if you can find established plants at the garden center then go for it but if you only have seeds you might as well try.

@up2nogood. Remember they love warm weather so if its not like 20c then stick em on ur windowsill facing the best position for sun (south facing). Will grow alot faster. Also dont forget to pollinate them urself.

I got about 20 chillis of 1 plant last year on the backroom windowsill and kept it alive through winter then put it under a cfl on 18/6 for a month in march and flowers started growing , I've now put it on my backroom windowsill and there are shitloads of em . F1 superchillis , about an inch long and well hot lol.

My two year old jalepeno is just fruiting now, thought i planted a few peppers this year but they all turned out to be cucumbers (wtf) and are now in garden.

I don't even know how many chillies and peppers i've got growing - loads - i've got a cheap little plastic greenhouse and planted them in normal multipurpose compost and have fed them once with tomato food and they are all thriving!

apart from the ones the slugs have eaten, but nature is as nature does and slug pellets are down now!

keep em warm and wet and sunny - that's what they like!
