Back in the day I remember growers/sellers used to soak there weed in embalming fluid to give it an hallucinogenic and psychoactive effect. By the way embalming fluid is what they use in dead people to preserve them before funerals take place etc etc. :p That weed was so damn addictive and strong :D Lol.

Hi all new guy here, currently picked up some at first thought homegrown skunk nice but bit wet ,well this nice bit wet skunk hazy has been in a bag for a few days,I opened it and it seems to have developed a orangey /yellow powder coating and all the smell has gone,this orangey yellow powder is very fine and if I tap bag it's in it's like a mini cloud,What has been added to it which has now obviously dried out ,it's a first for me I've seen all sorts of shite,been a smoker for 15+ years but this has got me searching the net,
Like I said on inspection the skunk looked good smelled good but abit wet now dried it's aliened out!

Did smoke it and still leans you out,

Beware of this shite in north London I buy in o's for personnal so I don't have to keep chasing people so ive been smoking this fine for 5 days taking
Out each day but if I only bought a g or 1/8 1/4 you would not even know because u would have smoked it all before it dried .

Why don't u guys just get it sent thru the post if u can't grow ur own. You get what u pay for it's a sad but true fact that weed is getting more expensive. Dam quality usually means dam prices. Rightfully so I suppose after all sumone has taken alot of care and given alot of love to produce sumthing so nice to smoke. If your buying 20 bags of shite grade and getting 3.5 it's false economy, I'd rather pay ten pound a gram or even ten pound .8 to get sum bone dry blue cheese or nevilles haze. It's terrible that people are making massive sums off contaminating green but if u buy it your justifying their actions completely. It seems to have gone from where I am for now but there is loads and loads or low grade commercial shite, they just call it English weed, but really it's sum sort of afghan strain with a certain taste and smell. I think the generic effect comes from not enough light and no flushing, maybe the brix shite aswell. Anyway that's my penny. Don't smoke it done buy it. Grow it r get it sent to you it's easy enough.

Up in Newcastle there's major droughts on. Several dealers, some of the most reliable for good smoke, have been raided over the summer. It's nigh on impossible to get anything good and prices are ridiclous. Got charged £20 for 1.2g of blue cheese!! Good smoke but nothing's worth that much. Put it in spaghetti bolognese (I've posted a good recipe in the cooking section). I am serious, it's much better to eat rather than smoke weed that may be contaminated, the stomach/gut can handle it better than your lungs!

I just got a quarter on the weekend not from my usual source but it's contaminated quite badly, it's the new process which is harder to spot and does not crunch but you still get the black oil when you spread the ash between your fingers, since I am getting some other proper shit, I thought I would try washing it as I have heard it can work quite well, I boiled it for about ten minutes and the liquid looked like soup and had a yellowish colour
I repeated the process a few times until water was clear and then dried it, now it looks like thai weed and I lost 2 3rds of the weight
BUT IT DOES SMOKE CLEAN but the high is shit, was it worth it ?

Green grower, i think i know what your on about i got some weed on Tuesday it smelt very strong and looked the business, but it was very sticky almost too sticky.

I noticed it took quite a while to dry out, when it was sticky it wouldn't light in a bong properly, when it was actually dry it was fine.

I know something was wrong with it, just that gut feeling but there isnt really any obvious signs the high was pretty pants though which you wouldn't expect giving the fact the this stuff looked and smelt very strong.

These contaminants are just getting stupidly hard to detect

Just reading this thread has made a lot of sense when thinking about weed not drying out recently. I've got 4 maybe 5 weeks left on my first grow with a mate and will hopefully never have to buy contaminated shite again.

Why anybody would want to ruin a good smoke for a few extra bucks is beyond me but the gangs that do this don't smoke weed. This is why it should be legalised in the UK as we have so many different criminal gangs growing weed and throwing harmful additives in to add some weight.

The more that people grow their own the sooner politicians will change the law (fingers crossed)
