ive germinated 4 seeds ( bubblelious) in jiffy pellets there around 3-4 inches tall ive got them in a small propergater they have there first set of proper single leaves and the start of the next leaves , anyhow i put the prop in my tent a week ago and they never grew any more i was using 4 T5 florescent i have vertical in the corners of tent and is become apparent ( by my friendly grow shop owner) that they need to be a lot closer to the light so instead of rigging it all down i bought a 125w cfl and got that down around 4-5 inches from seedlings question is should i still have the lid on the propergater or what ? ive been spraying the jiffy pellets with plain water when almost dry out , my plan was to wait untill the roots are bursting out of pellets and stick them in the clay pellets (wilma ) looks like ive lost a week here seedlings still look ok , do you think i could of caused them any harm?

hi mate..keep the lid on and just make sure you spray them a few times a day.you can use formulex to spray on the foilage to help them along.keep the light about 4 to 6 inches above.look here

Yes mate keep the lid on and the humidity good. Gradually open the vents to allow more air in as the plants grow so the stems start to harden.
I remove the lid completely after the stem changes to a darker colour
