My manager at work about a month ago went on one if these which is a hull-amsterdam minicruiss. It cost her only £75 for her and her husband to go, booked 6 weeks in advance. Basically what she did was drive up there and park the car for a fiver for the whole duration. It is an overnight crossing, so included in the price is you room/cabin on the ferry (which had a nightclub on). You arrive in Zeebruggee in the morning I think..... Then the coach meets the passenger and takes them to the Dam, you then have the whole day ther before coming back in the evning.

I personaly think this is great. In a weekend, you can get away to Amsterdam, smoke some top quality weed, shag some ho's, watch sex shows then be back for work or what not the follwing day. Also you don't need to worry bout the expensive hotels all though food is something that would need to be sorted.

I am going to book myself one of these bad boys, hopefully get a friend to come along too.

Yea it would take me 1h30-2 hrs to get there but to me it's a better alternative to flying a d having to find accomodation

There is also a DFDS ferry that runs between Newcastle and Amsterdam.
On the ferry overnight, a day in the dam, then back on the ferry overnight.

Too easy and about the price of a decent night out.

I did this twice last year (also spent 5 days in 'dam last month, but flew this time), and both time we stayed the extra night. The addition fee from P&O is only £10 or £15, I forget now, and you obviously have to find accomodation for the night. The bonus is that you get all day, all night, and all day until 4pm tomorrow to smoke, rather than just the 6 hours you get on the one day trip. Still only £60-70 all in per person, for 2 days in dam and return travel. Bargain.
