this is wierd because im trying to grow sunflowers this year but a like dwarf one.
i germed some out of some bird food and look at the leaves on this one

there almost like two leaves but at the edge they are joined to make one.:eek: weird anyone had this with cannabis?

Lol i got a sunflower on go fer kids its about a foot already, I also got 31 tomato plants all over house too, thought it would stop people being suspicious about all the gardening deliveries.

haha me too ... my son has a mouth ...so had to make this little herb /flower garden to double bluff, grew one sunflower in the grow room amongst other herbs ...came from some bird food too ... it's quite big and went to the great outdoors last week, but only have one tomato plant ... which i thought was a rosemary plant for weeks ... :rolleye:

Bet you have allready germed your sunflower seeds out, so im weeks behind, but oh yes this sounds great fun, im in.

Has to be the tallest obviously, unless ya a florist or a cut flower freak why else would you want to grow a sunflower in a sunflower comp.

I say it should be tallest, but just my opinion voting on nice flower head and colour could be took into account, but i think it should be a height comp myself!

Just go to a garden center buy a pack of the biggest giant var they sell and go for it!

would be good to set a finish date like 30th september, and tallest wins.

I will give a pack of 10 Mango Haze f2 seeds to the winner, if by some amazing luck i win the the person with the next tallest will recive the seeds.

Meh i aint even bought mine yet, so get to the garden center do what im gonna do buy a pack of the biggest sunflowers they sell in seed form ;)
