Ive been thinking about doing something different for my next grow, although im only 3 weeks into flower in my current lol.

I'd like to give Cocoponics a try as a means of growing over soil, I mean who wouldn't want better plant growth, better yields in a simple hydro method. But i also want to try a SCROG. Ive seen some people saying regular flat SCROGs give a sort of green mountain of growth towards the bulb, so stadium style comes to mind.
Curently I have 1.2 x 2m tent, 600w HPS and a 1m diameter parabolic reflector, so I'm thinking of replicating the Parabolic as a SCROG screen, literally using it as a template for a Stadium SCROG. 6 plants (Strain to be determined) in Coco, 1 for each section of the stadium. Seems a good idea to myself, but ive been chonging for hours.. What do folks think?

Excuse the crudity, MS paint never was my strong point....

Should work nicely, chap. Slightly more advanced version of my setup. This gives you an idea...

One problem I foresee using this stadium scrogging technique, is the reaching the plants at the back of the tent and the general maneuverability. What happens if you need to examine the plant at the back? You'd have to lift all 6 plants out at the same time! Towards the end of flower, this would surely be impossible...... :furious:

Other than that though..... it sounds like a plan :D

Or you could rig up a kinda' "lazy Susan" affair & just spin them around till each one reaches the front.

Alternativley, you could do a modular scrog, having a "cheese" shaped wedge over each plant, so they all lock together, but can be removed independantly.

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering about mobility issues and flushing issues etc, maybe cut no of plants down to 4 for ease and space. Modular an is interesting thought,

i use a parabolic reflector & modular scrog 3 plants a time under 400 w in a 1x1x2 tent.

Works great for me.

What do you usually end up with mate?

Have a butchers @ my link, it is strain dependant, but anywhere between 3.5 & 5 oz.

As I said, have a look, I have just cropped 2.
