5G is most they will sell one person in a single transaction. So if three go in together you can buy 15G.

Most weed/hash is < 20 Euro per Gram. I bought 5G of Caramello Hash for about 55 Euro which was 10 Euro cheaper then getting 5 * 1G.

It all depends on where you go. Search the site for reccomendations but my personal favorites are :-

Barney's, De Kuil (420), Abraxas, Amnesia & Dampkring, Rokerij.

And from my last visit in June - you just got to try some Nevilles haze in a vaporizer in De Kuil, Had some mighty good cheese from Dampkring too.


Just make sure you know what your getting & what you want - most menu's will have Sativa or Indica & if its a Stoner, Monger or High. Its no good getting Monged at 10AM & you dont want to be Buzzing at 3AM.

Look for places further out of the centre and you'll probably find it's a bit cheaper. We were paying 8 euro's a gram in one place for Jack Herer and 12 in another further into the centre. Good hash costs more than good weed as well.

10-12 Euro's will get you a Gram of good quality weed in most coffeeshops.

Temple ball, Caremello, lilla or Pollen hash are going to cost you about 15 Euro/Gram but perfectly good morrocan hash can be had for 8 Euro/Gram

One coffeeshop (think it was Dampkring) had some hash at 50 Euro/Gram with a warning next to it - Very strong for experienced smokers only! I gave that a miss.

What is seen as experienced?...I asked because it just sounds silly...I plan on going to Amsterdam some time in the near future, I have loads of family there.

The warning is probably because it does some hardcore shit to you. It'll just be particularly pure, possibly ice-o-lator. The rediculous price tag probably isn't necessary but it won't be necessary for you to smoke this stuff to get stoned. The normal weed and hash will do that to you. If you want something special though, something to really play with your head and make you giggle, then go for the ultra stuff. The warning is probably to stop random tourists who think they can handle it and end up completely baked off their faces.

i got some of that 55 euro per gram stuff from dampkrink

its their own water hash, its a very nice trippy high with a "good pick me up" feel to it. its perfect for when you have been smoking heavy weed for 16 hours solid

the thing to remember is you might think your a experienced smoker over here but the even the cheaper weed over there is fucking awesome. first time i went we got some orange bud - labelled as good for beginners . a nice grinning herb.
one spliff later we was absoluetly off our nuts and laughing like a pair of idiots.
as has been said - the hash out there is also worth sampling , in fact when i go now i smoke mainly the hash as the weed knocks my head off so i save that for when i get back to the hotel
