I dunno about any of you guys but where I live in the midlands in the UK, there's this complete idiot who does late night kerrang radio discussions, where he gets people on and they talk about how aliens are gonna take over the world, and all this guy ever says is "LOCK EM UP! LOCK EM UP for X years with no appeal" its his frickin' solution to everything.
Well anywayz, he really pissed me off the other night with something he came out with when discussing teenagers who smoke weed and play violent computer games. His quote came something like this:
"So what do you think yeah, these kids, they sit around all night smoking super skunk playing violent computer games, and its desensitizing them to violent crime and increasing risk"
This upset me on so many levels.... I mean yeah man i smoked shit loads of weed and it made me kill my family and rob a thousand banks what's Jill Forrest gonna do? Weed was the gateway into my life of crime and knife culture, and all I do is sit around smoking skunk playing violent computer games and this makes me wanna act out GTA in real life on a daily basis.
What a stupid fucking idiot man. I've been playing computer games my WHOLE life, this has ranged from starting out on the master system in the 80's, through to arcades, violent computer games the fuckin lot. I have also smoked for about 5 years and probably had a few strains of chronic in my time that have been what could be referred to as some nice skunk (you guys are smiling 'cos you know what I'm talking about :) ).
I am NOT desensitized to violent crime. I have NEVER commited an act of violent crime in my life and never would. I hate the idea of having a fight, or hurting someone, and I once had a probably unhealthy obsession with House of the dead the Arcade game. A game that involves blowing the limbs of zombies off as quickly as possible. I have also completed a wide range of GTA games. Do I carry a gun? No. Do I carry a Knife? Hell no, im a pot smoker for fucks sake, I sit on my couch with my bong, my grinder and my laptop, and I ponder the world. :bong: - and that's if I can find the time! (I find it)
FUCK off Kerrang Radio, you pointless pile of complete Donkey Wank, you are polluting the minds of children whilst trying to still "appear like the cool kids" and attempting to appeal to hysterical Daily Mail mothers who think that hooded kids with knives are gonna stab their children (probs with a spiff in their mouth).
