I've moved this thread to the Infirmary mate where you should get a better response. :)

Photo's and full details of your grow will help to figure out your problem.

I have the white widow under a 125W flourescent bulb about 6-8 inches away. The temperature is about 24/25C in the day and about 18/20C at night. Im using coco professional + soil and i have been watering them every 3/4 days with plain water without nutrients. I have Canna Coco A + B but im not sure when i should start using them. The leaves at the bottom of the plants are a yellow/brown colour and i dont know if its something that im doing wrong????

Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, you need to get that light closer to the plants first mate, else they will stretch to buggery.

What size pots are they in and when did you last repot?

They are in 11L pots and i put them in these after about 1 1/2 weeks

Have you started feeding yet? If not it sounds like you should start mate.
As i've never used Canna Coco A & B i won't guess at what dosages you should be giving, i'll leave that down to someone who has used the products before.
Any thought's as to when you will be flowering?

I was going to start flowering when the widow were about 12-18 inches high? Is that about right???

Under a 125W mate the sooner the better really as they will continue to grow after you have changed the lights to 12/12.
If i were you i'd have a read through the Novice section about LST (low-stress training) else you'll have a very tall, spindly plant with very few bud sites at the bottom.
If you can add more light, even a few household CFL's it will make a difference.

I have a 600W CFL but i was a bit afraid of using it too early and burning the plants. Do you think i should put them under the 600W lamp asap? The widows are only about 4-6 inches tall???

5 plants under 125w flo light. NOT GOOD. Everyone to their own while growing, thats what I say. Can you get at least a 400w HPS for flowering, usually cost about £100 delivered. If you can you will notice the difference big time, if not good luck I will be interested to see what kind of yield u get. Best of luck

If i put the widows under the 600W lamp will they be ok? Do i still leave them on a 18-6 light cycle or shall i go 12-12? The widows are only 4-6 inches tall, will the heat from the lamp kill my baby's???????

Its up to you. The 600 will do them no harm. Put your hand at the top of the plant...... leave for 1min. If it does not burn your plants will be fine. More light the better, in veg or flower. Just make sure you have good ventilation. Why not give them the 600 for 1 week then flip the switch. Its all trail and error. I do 12/12 from seed and Im still trying to find "the one", although Northen Lights is the winner so far followed by a close second of bubblelicious

they sound hungry mate, coco has no nutes in it so give them a light feed maybe a+b 1/4 strenth for your first feed.
as said, more light the better

They look hungry to me mate. Either that or light bleaching.

I was using the same but i changed to a 600w lamp yesterday. Ive been told that its quite normal for the bottom leaves to brown as long as the top leaves are healthy. I was also told that it may be because i have not fed them any nutes yet.

Is light bleaching when the light is too close???

mellowed

No light bleaching occurs when the plant is to young to handle the amount of light that is being absorbed by the leaves. I have just had this happen to a cutting under my 125w cfl but I managed to save it by using household cfls instead for a week.

If you have not feed you plants yet then this will probably be the problem as they start to eat them selves sort off.

Give them a small feed and see how they do otherwise they ain't gonna last much longer like this.

You might want to put them back under your cfl while feeding them to reduce the amount of stress they will go through due to lack of feed and a very intense light.
