So why was I (Missy) kicked out of, and banned from, the chat then?

its this simple - chat is NOT hosted by thctalk forum - meaning its not the same server - ie - its open to anyone who has the link - so to prevent bs and pigs and general bullshit - anyone whos in chat with anything other than thier own forum username they gone - saem goes for blocked ips addys in chat - gone - any probs tell rags to sack me :)
