the 1987 cbr has a custom tail, nexus exhaust, devil head lights (forgot proper name)
and the 1997 one has just had a fresh set off black panels put on, new exhaust, green neons, and always replacing new brakes/tires
(didnt like the OEM panels which was multicoloured red/black/orange.. eeew)

Love Bikes
On the road i had a TS50x it had a 75cc Big bore kit.
I killed it after 8 months.I Hit a car that had reversed into the main road down a country lane.
Swiftley to hospital mangled bike, 7 ribs, back and jaw
I then got a TS125x, much the same a car turned right as i was overtaking it.
Usual story mangled bike more hospital food for few days. Decided to give it a break for a while no pun intended.
So 9yrs pass take my test in a day get a CBR900R at 26yrs old. Know what your thinking..........
But no this went very well no hospital food from this. But quite a few points mind you.
GSX1000 again mostly free from hospital bar one small mistake of cold new tyres and fresh Feb morning with my knee down round a roundabout.
Bent most of the bike aswell as a few bits of me.
Then a CR5OOMX Road Legal on daytime MOT lol...... I Don't recomend last one for the road, Faint Harted,Easy Frightened, It's a pure animal to ride on road.
A bonus is front tyre last very long time as normaly sits about 2ft off ground in every gear from 1/4 throttle up. Makes corners intresting :) but the grin factor is priceless
My off road bikes
YZ125,CR125 Raced most sundays from 15 till i was about 18 including various free St Johns rides to A and E.
Next want a 300XEC or CRF450 for bit of off roading with me mates..

Got a 650 BSA Golden Flash (1954), had it for over 30yrs. Done her up to Road Rocket spec (alloy head, high compression pistons), fitted her with 'rear sets' and 'clip ons'.
Also a close ratio gearbox (RRT2), goes like shit off a shovel, does 90mph in third (only 105mph in top, 4th), have to slip the clutch like mad to get away but once she's moving can be a match for most Jap bikes of similar capacity.
All good things

Nice bike you've got there VMAX, I would love a 500 Gold Star (DBD34), trouble is they cost about £10,000, if you can find one.
The Ace cafe, on the north circular road, has now reopened, a great place to see great bikes, old and new.
All good things

cheers,TDA.
she was my ocd before i started growing, lol. growings much cheaper :)
the lack of 500s was in part to my dad stacking about 4 of them, lol
he will be gutted when i tell what they are worth now....
he says a lot of other bikes he raced on the north circular blew up as he got to 70 in 1st and the other rider couldnt hear their bikes....
be nice to see a pic of your bsa but if you show it i guess it could be risky.
cheers
