water/feed seedlings in rockwool

im abut to start some seeds using jiffys then into rockwool,i usually put jiffys in 4" pots then in the coco when i have a good rootball..my questin is when i put seedlings into the rockwool i use coco a/b-ec 1.0,when do i feed/water when at this stage before i put int my wilma using coco as i havnt used rockwool before? and is the ec ok?thanks:confused:

I assume you mean canna coco A+B
make sure your seeds are nicely established in the jiffys once the roots are popping out then transfer to 3" cubes you can simply water for a week like this then start adding coco A+B at about .5 once they are established in the 3" cubes you can keep your own council and increase it as the plants require it

yes i use canna a/b when in the coco but use formulex in ph,d water at 5.5 and ec of 1.0,tapwater ec is 0.6! their now in the coco on a/b,ph-5.5,ec-1.1 under a m/h bulb and growing very well and did what you said wait and waited for roots into 4" cubes then in the coco when roots appeared on the bottoms of the 4" cubes.thanks for your advise ;)

I said before to you about this. Just leave tapwater in bucket over night to settle. If water is e.c 0.6 then use that and add nutes as they grow. E.C 1 is overkill.

cheers w/d,i do listen,its trial and error as still new ground on hydro 4 me but their in the coco now a week and 3" tall with 2nd set of true leaves coming through and looking great and ph is 5.5,ec-1.0 on 1 feed a day! 80793this pic is from last week their much bigger now,deffo use the m/h 2 veg again ;)
