Prime got my vote!! I grown and cooked them and know how tuff they are just to cut open, and he carved it!!! It didn't crack when he did it too.. Great Job!

Joefriday for me like the flame face... tis well cut...good turnout, pats on backs all round me thinks.

Really tough decision, it's between Pugz and Max for me.
Both 1st class but decided to go with max purely because of the amount of detail that went in to it.

A pumpkin is a gourd-like squash of the genus Cucurbita and the family Cucurbitaceae (which also includes gourds) well it should be Cucurbitaceae Of The Month!!! or Gourd Of the Month :p

Mate, I've just gone back on the thread and got Mrs Grub to double check too on her laptop... We can see your post about only finishing half of it, or something like that, and the post underneath saying it looks better lit up, but there's no pic...?

just voted for poems. dig the ghost, never seen one like that before, hence my vote. woooooooo! pugz is awesome, max's is a work of scary art. they are all great, i love the classic scary face style most of us did. i dont think id have the artistic ability to do a carving like max or pugz.

Yeah I did up2nogood, I did know it but couldn't think how to spell "Cucurbitaceae" so I copied and pasted, much easier. LOL I studied ornamental horticulture in College, as well as a little Genetics. :)

Mate if it were up to me I'd give away a medal to every one who wins a comp. :p
You'd have to get on to Rags about that fella... Medals/trophies are only given away in regular competitions, like; POTM, WPOTM, Bong comp etc, so I'm not sure if a one-off Pumpkin competition would warrant a prize.
As I say mate, Rags is in charge of all that stuff. :)
