Hi all hope some one can help,

8 Autoflowering plants from seed, sprouted, put in rockwool and then in x-stream aero-propagator on 17th feb, big roots repotted into 11L pots on 28th
Medium: coco/coir
Light: dual spectrum 600w about 18 inches away (enough so they not burn)
temp ~ 81F
ph of medium (coco/perlite/claypebbles) <6
Ph of Nuts/water ~5.8
ppm ~ 400 (minused the original waterppm)
cf ~4-5
using vitalink coir grow at 40ml to a 40Ltank, using to hand feed from above
Since repotting 4 days ago no growth???
Taking steps to get heat level down(waiting for some ducting)

is this normal? how big should they be?, they look healthy

Any help /advice welcome please!

thanks

Hiya mate-

I'm pretty new to this - on my first grow, so take anything I say with a pinch of salt! I'm sure someone more experienced will help if I get anything wrong.
However I'm dead on 3 weeks at the moment with 4 different stains of auto, so I've the same kind of plants and same time frame as you.

This is what one of mine (Afghan Kush Ryder) looks like 2 days ago (there's visible growth daily at the moment so it's a little bigger now). I've LST'd fairly heavily it so I'd guess it's anywhere around 3 - 4 inches shorted than it should be maybe a littel more.

When I potted up my four plants (I went from root riots, to 1 litre pots to big pots), I damaged the roots of one of them and it ended up in shock. Didn't grow at all from one week, then suddenly took off again, so its now a fair bit behind the others (I don't think you're supposed to pot up autos for this exact reason as they're on a set internal timer).

It's here (although it's currently got a different set of problems I'm dealing with)

Are yours more this size?
I'd take a wild guess you probably shocked them potting up, but it could also be any one of many things to do with enviro, lights, nutes etc...

Hopefully someone will be able to give you some constructive advice on something you can actually do to try and remedy it...

Hope that helps - if only a little!

edited to add: If you temps are around 30ºC or above I've heard this can also slow growth and stunt them a bit... although 81F is less than 28ºC I think so you should be just about okay there. Any pics?

Often when you repot the plants get a bit disturbed and take a few days to adjust. Make sure you've watered the coco thoroughly with some runoff, and maybe add a bit of stress relief (superthrive/supervit whatever), and maybe some root stim to get it going in the bigger containers.

Thanks all,
if I was going to add root stim/ or superthrive/vit etc do I mix it with current vitalink grow nuts or on own (dilute)?
Can you mix different manufactures' nutrients/feeds etc,
what are the best ones for coir? any suggestions
how do i make autoblues bigger and more tasty?
Many Thanks
