Mixing your smoke?

Probably the wrong title, so how do you smoke?

Do you smoke straight joints/blunts, or do you put Tobacco in them..
OR do you put some of those smoking mixes in? In my area there's this little headshop which have smoking mixes which look like someone's mowed my lawn and bagged it. :jawdrop:

I know a guy who mixes his joints with rose petal's ;)

I personally smoke them straight, but when I was younger I'd put abit of tobacco in then after a trip to Cali for 6months I realised complete weed smoke was the way forth!

I do straight weed,but I like mixing strains in a blunt and sativa/indica mixes are my fave.

mixing with tobacco is blasphemy. it just totally ruins a nice product in my opinion, but then the only time i touch tobacco is to show people how to properly smoke and appreciate cigars at weddings or something rare like that. tobacco just doesn't appeal.
i'll only smoke weed as it comes, but i have a friend who buys that stuff you're saying the head shop sells (i think its like £2.50 for a massive bag) and he loves it on its own or to mix with. i guess we're all different.
it's funny you say after a trip to the US you smoke straight, my first talk with an american many years ago about it made him go 'WTF!?' when i said almost everyone mixes over here. i guess it's just britains (or europeans) being cheap bastids and trying to make the green stretch, and habits pass on to others as they watch and learn.


forgot to say, i normally smoke bongs or i use a small pipe i take with me to friends houses or festivals etc. i can't roll for toffee and cant be bothered taking a rolling machine, papers, blah blah around with me lol. if i do roll it's never mixed.

When I went on a trip to Cali, $100 got me 2.5Oz (now its legal out there your looking at $40-50 an eight) which is stupid money; round my parts £180 will get you.. 1Oz ffs. Why I grow my own.

I usually smoke a bong these days, my rolling is shit at the best of times. People tend to mix as a way to bulk up the joint as most of us share ;)

I just whacked about 2g into a blunt ready to toke later on (I'll be awake until 3-4Am) :D

180's good in some respects. a few of my work mates who smoke tell me they pay a tenner a gram or 230 an oz if you're lucky to find a dealer willing to part with an oz. they wont sell quarters or anything now apparently. i've been growing since it was 140 an oz, around 5 years ago.. i thought that was bad enough, but now its rediculous.

bulking up to share is false economy? you need to inhale more to get the same amount of weed in you lol. i guess it works if you've got tokers who really cane it before passing though. enjoy your blunt homey!

mixing with tobacco is habit for many many smokers, probably as thats we way were taught at somepoint.
i tend to mix as its through habit but only put 1/4 of a cigarette. tiny bottom layer, bulk of weed then tiny top layer.
i do it as it helps to get an even burn
i notice people who smoke cigarettes tend to put more tobacco in, i smoke cigarettes but only tend to buy them for my joints and end up smoking a couple out of the box.
ive got a few glass bongs and a few pipes some quite expensive, i love my bongs but nothing compares to chilling with a spliff

Yes i mix with tobacco also as it gives a good burn, not too much but just enough and it doesn't ruin the taste if you are a smoker anyway. The people that can't roll you need to learn, smoking joint is the only way to do it in my opinion, gets you fucked :stoned-smilie:

i tend to smoke blunts but i do have my tobacco adiction which im slowly lowering monthly untill near the end of the year i will be tobacco free and healthier. Do love a vap though

the only things that I managed to keep safe were my grow stuff and my bis' stash. Was curing about 550-500g in a glass jar when we were moving; saved that lot like my life depended on it. (Well it kinda does, I use it for medical reasons anyway)

When I had a nasty acrylic I mixed vinegar and water and about 4 tablespoons of salt and keep adding vinegar till it does the job!
You can use coke also as it eats away at the resin and tar but make sure you rinse good and proper as the sugar will make it really sticky~!

Ive often wondered this, seen a few people doing it now but they oldskool so could be sumat to do with it. I personally think it would make it weaker.

Only way I'll mix the 2 is if the weed is fresh or damp. If your weed is dry then it will smoke perfectly.

I smoke with tobacco, layer on the bottom weed in the middle then more tobacco on top. It is just the perfect way to smoke in my opinion. However, I want to start vaporizer, eating it and smoking pure because I know the health effects are very bad using tobacco.

I mix 50/50 green and baccy golden virginia light/smooth! nice baccy and not too strong so doesn't detract too much away from the weed

If i smoke hashish i mix toasted tobacco in, to make it "smokeable" in a joint.. I know it maybe sound lame to some people but for me a big deal of getting high is also about the joint making. I will say no if its a badly created joint. I always make sure to heat the cigarette and blow air through till there is no more "blue" smoke coming out. Just make sure the flame never hits the cigarette and avoid all kinds of tin-foil. No black pieces, just dry. It gives the best burn in my opinion.

I never smoke bong/waterpipes because of the water in the lungs(i was told you can get water in your lungs and never investigated it.)

How ever if i smoke buds in joint its nice with no tobacco.. But how ever in a earthpipe its nice to have some added to make it burn longer so you don´t have to "bap" it up the whole time.

I have a weak mind when it comes to smoking so i don´t need that much.. Cheap living ^^ :joint:

Where i am from (Denmark) the best cigarette to mix in is called Prince.. We also have some cigarettes that taste like weed when drinking a coca cola at the same time..

I hate all the synthetic "blunt wraps" you can buy and always use Smoking, or earth.

Well when I was back in my teens I used a little tobacco, to create Whacky-backy but nower days I only use bud. I never smoked cigarettes nor tobacco, only if someone is mixing it into the joint when we're sat down chilling, and its not my weed. When I goto see family out in the states, I travel between Cali and Pittsburgh. Both have killer weed, neither mix their smoke.

I actually was in a meeting in February with a clothing shop in PA, I got a whiff of weed. Popped my headout to see two decently well known music (hip-hop) stars buying clothes together with a whole host of random dudes and some that I recognised. A few words were exchanged, a few joints later at my Brothers and I got their business cards n ended up producing clothing for both stars.

Old post but what the hell, well the countries where bud is much cheaper, are the ones for smoking it straight, when your paying what? £190 an ounce in UK, and other places you can get an ounce for like £40 there is a BIG difference in amounts, i do smoke them straight, for two reasons, its much better and i cant stand the taste of tobacco, the only time i used to smoke was a joint and had to have a drink beside me (or my mouth would water like a mother fucker, and it was either spit it out or swallow it with a drink) thats what tobacco did to me, after going straight weed im fine.. but at a party, i love to roll one HUGE beast of a joint, and pass it round, thats alot better for some getting high convo! i dont think its any fun, just a group of people sitting there with a spliff each just silently getting high, so pass a few giant spliffs around at a time, and the convo is great!
