Had to take my bubblicious out of hydro to outdoor 5 gal container organic mulch. Not sure of comparing plant signals.... so in the way of clarity for me.....
Transplant showed no real shock, except the leaves all went to a healthy looking deep emerald color and thrived. 5 days in, new growth is a much lighter, brighter green, and the plant is going tall in a hurry.
So, 2 things..... was that burst of lighter green a good thing or something I should respond to?
Second...... it is in wk 1 of flowering. Is there an appropriate trim or pinch at this point in outdoor 5 gal container soil to make it more bushy and low?
Smaller pot is not an option...... roots from hydro veg filled the 5 gal. container 75%.

Here are the details and I'll follow with questions.....
I have a 5 WK old bubblicious that was thriving in an ebb & flow. Was using the gallon potting sack full of hydroton. Was up to 700 ppm when it became necessary to move it outside, ergo soil.
I think I did a good job in transposing....the roots were prolific throughout the bag and had grown through on the bottom. To minimally disturb the roots, I cut away any of the sack that wasn't rooted through and let whatever hydroton fall out on its own. What was left over was put on top of about 3" of hydroton in the bottom of the pot as well as the hydroton still in the bottom of the grow bag. I sifted in organic mulch and watered with a 400 ppm grow solution and Orca microbac. 48 hours later is still thriving nicely.
Questions....
1. Was/is it wrong to add diluted nutes rather than plain RO at the 1st watering, or in the near future?
If so, how do I know that the organic compost I'm using is sufficient to cover the nute spectrum?
2. Considering the makeup of the container ( mulch in top and through middle and hydroton on bottom), will the plant drown in a draining pot if a rain comes?
3. It was on 24 hr constant light and is very ready to go to flower. When would I use B-52 and Bud Candy and Overdrive? Or even voodoo juice in the new transplant?
4. What am I missing or not asking?
Thanks in advance y'all.
