Thread: Roots out the bottom of my pot??

    Default Roots out the bottom of my pot??

    Hay guys reported my plant 4 or 5 days a go now and jus noticed roots have come out the new pot into the tray is this normal? Or shall I repot into a bigger 1 it's in a 10 l pot now thanks

    What size pot was it in before.
    Looks like its been sitting in runoff.
    10L should be fine.
    How big is plant?

    Looks like she's been sat in run off, get rid of the run off soon as mate! Don't want that shit hanging around

    if its soil & autos the go straight to the 10l pots if its a non auto then if it was me I would pot up to a 6l then put in a 15l final pot "space dependant "

    What's run off? The excess water that's soaked through ? I've got a 15l pot now will it be best to put her in that today then leave it also how much water do I wanna give her each time I water her thanks guys

    Correct, you have to get rid of it, don't let your plant sit in it.
    Don't pot up again yet mate, let the root mass build up a bit first you don't need to pot up till you have lots more roots and constant pitting up will stress your plant.

    Use your judgement on watering fella, don't overdo it. Better to be bit dry than too wet.
