Heat issues uk???

yea i struggled last tuesday when it hit 17 degrees, plants pulled through though

I know it is because you guys don't have AC and stuff but it always sounds weird to read these when it is 115*F here, costing me a fortune to keep the house around 82 let alone cooler. I had to switch to a home made cfl board for a short veg and go to 12/12 with lights at night to run the hps.

been hitting temps of 35c in my cupboard! plants looking healthy though, 1st week in flower. Will high temps effect bud development?

Temps effect growth and water uptake.
When its hot the plant uses water to cool down so will create a nute hot medium. And they stop growing, can stress them into hermying. Above 30'C isn't really good.
Try having the light off when the suns out so your not exchanging hot air with hot air in your groom.

that being said..

some strains seem more heat resistant than others.. using things like liquid silica also will make your plants more resistant to high temps..

for the last 4 or 5 weeks of flowering on my last grow (see link in sig) temps were no lower than 30C sometimes upto 33C or 34C and i hit just under a gram per watt.. the plants were not really at any point showing any signs of ill health

I was hit realy bad this grow by the heat. I also think i over nutrients them with pk and senisym but the heat was up to 34 degrees in there one night.
