    Default another helicopter going down

for the 4th time in 4 years another puma crashes, when are these oil companys going to sit back and not skrimp and scrape on contracts for the saftey of their workers ? one thing that puzzles me is , they can track a mobile phone to 1 metre but they have to search for people in water for hours , why can,t these life juackets/ survival suits have some kind of gps in them (no they give you a fucking whistle), in this day and age it does,nt make any sense at all and it pisses me off, r.i.p

The survival suit do have a GPS built in and is activated when wet.
Its the body's of the ones that didn't get to there suits in time that they take so long to recover.

it don,t work like that mate, you need to get in survival suit in airport before you enter heli, i think the ones that passed away were because of impact injurys but still, they should be to pin point a body in the sea from 100 miles away these days, there should,nt be searching for days

I'm sure I've seen a program with GpS survival suits in.
Might have been one of those deep sea/trawler docs on sky they were in.

My thoughts are with the family

You have to have ALL the safety gear on before you board the chopper, that's a fact mate.

My pal flew out this Monday and was having a yarn with him,the firm he works for use the new sikorskiy (spelling) which is the same design as what the coastguard search and rescue use, apparently they are very reliable but the pumas are shit.

RIP to the 4 souls who perished
