Have you tried User Name: Administrator, Password: Password.

Failing that I think there is a way to reset the password via the BiOS.

ETA, Do you have the OS Disc? If so pop it in, boot from disc and select upgrade, this will keep all settings but allow the password to be changed.

Can't you D/L a copy from somewhere like Birate Pay?

Are you using Windows vista, there is a separate hidden account called administrator.
The easiest way to access it is to go into safe mode.
You do this by tapping F8 just after the self test, and before windows starts to load.
Once on the start up menu choose safe mode.
    Click on the administrator account.
From there you can change any passwords in the control panel under user accounts.
You do not have to know any of the passwords to change them, or you can use utility to delete the lost password.
Usually 3 steps easy to follow:
1.Download Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 from Official site and decompress it on that PC.there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD.
2.Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked computer.
3.Re-boot the locked computer and then follow the process of
instructions. Just after a few steps, the old password will be removed.
It supports all windows version, recover windows 7 password, vista/xp/2003/2000/NT etc.

Have a search for hirens boot cd - download that and burn it to a cd.
Tell the laptop to boot from cd and it will boot up a menu select kronboot and let it run / press enter on the kronboot screen - then select windows to boot it.
It will still ask for a password but just hit enter and it will let you in without one.

Alternatively you can just grab kronboot and burn that / use the same but hirens boot cd is a great tool to have, loads of really good stuff on there - it is free too

Only thing i know to get by a laptop password is switch it on...and before anything loads up....keep tapping F10 or F11....it should bring up the safe mode menu or something....then reset factory settings.

Obviously not what u wanna do cause it brings it back to the state u first bought it in.
Hope u get it sorted m8.

    Peace.
