Alternative to the Dam

Jump on a train and head outside the dam to smaller town's Coffee Shops.

Better deals on offer and only 10/15 minutes on the train from Central in any direction. Haarlem is a great wee town as is Zandvoort.

Having lived in Holland for over 5 years, after the fun factor wore off i only went to the Dam when mates were coming to visit.

How about places outside Holland, I'm really tempted to go Nepal and try the notorious Nepalese temple ball hash, if I were to go to that region it would be a complete waste not to go to the Manala valley in Himaachal Pradesh, India while im at it - which is supposedly the origin of Barney farms violator kush of which the reviews speak for themselves

We were fortunate to win an all expense trip to holland in 1994 when my wife entered one of those tv times comps where it was a case of answer A,B,C as to the capital of Holland it was run by the Dutch tourist board and paid dividends as we have been back many times and twice with a bunch of stag parties but the first time we stayed in Zandvoort and other times we have driven so as to go see Holland and I concur it is a marvellous countrie when you get out of the capital in many many respects,
Efterling theme park is well worth a visit as well

My 40th soon and I've been looking into Barcelona?
Anyone had any experience of how you go about joining the social clubs out there?
I know some, if not all, you need to know a member who can get you in?

I like Noordwijk aan Zee, on the sea, long beaches and dunes, plenty of cycle paths, far less tourists. Kite surfing to watch or do.

Stop in the city for supplies and head out.

Noordwijk is a great place spent a very stoned year working there and some good coffee shops in nearby leiden only thing to remember is they don't open till 1600!

Are you into kite surfing needs must?
Its something I intend doing this summer as I'm bang into snowboarding so understand the concept of heel and toe edging,it can't be that different?

Plus the fact I live by the beach and have a boat to use to get back to shore when the wind direction is wrong
