Girl on her own in the Dam

I'm meeting some friends in Amsterdam next week but I'll have a whole day to myself there too.

Wondered if anyone could give me a suggestion for a friendly coffee shop for a girl on her own - I'd just like somewhere to go and get a little bit happy before I go to visit the Van Gogh museum

Give one called 'The Grey Area' a whirl. A little bit away from dam square, tram 9 if I remember correctly, but don't trust me on that one!!
It's just off 'Utrechtstrasse', nice and quiet usually, and some lovely smokes
Just round the corner is Smokeys aswell. That was the first place we landed the first time we went, lovely coffee, lovely atmosphere, of course lovely smoke and, they had bouncers on the door when we were there, keeping the idiots out.

Hi.....i just got back....i found Amnesia to be really nice and relaxed,nice weed too.Barneys is fine and i also enjoyed the Green Place....Enjoy.

Just got back - went to green place, voyagers - also loved the cannabis college - chatted to him for ages about vaporisers... Love the city so much,chilled in the park then Van Gogh museum - good times. They're all so friendly there I'd love to live there if it wasn't for all the annoying stag parties!

Avoid the Dolphin! Beware, that place sucks and is a tourist trap.
