    Default Basic DIY Tools

    I shalt take the 1st post on this one Oh the honour!.

    What are the bare necessities for a DIY grow?

    Screws
    Nails
    hammer
    Screwdriver

    etc any recommendations folks? Got a favorite?

    Ducktape will FIX anything i swear by it hehe just look at my growbox!!

    Staple gun just the job for securing blackout sheeting and sticky backed velcro strips to timber frames

    screw in hooks are excellent to have.. all shapes and sizes.. get em by the assorted box...

    bradawl.. for finding studs..

    definitely a spirit level

    For drobes a jigsaw comes in handy.
    Drill.
    Decorators caulk for smell & light proofing.
    Bungee cord for hanging your filter etc.
    Patience.

    spray adhesive used to stick carpets down works well for places stapes dont work like no hard surface to stape to saves loseing reflective area by using duck tape.

    ^^yeah, that stuff really helped when lining the top of my space with mylar etc. a mate gave me it, never thought i'd get much use but it's well handy

    the same mate gave me a big roll of garden wire but i've yet to find a use for it. what d'you do with your wire spliffy?! lol

    not in my room but on a m8s grow we had 12 lights on it the filter and fan all hangin by the stuff after the grow hung the weed on it to dry and then used bits of it to tie all the stalks 2geva lol at the min tho i just have my thermometer and hygrometer hangin by it lol

    Edit: i also used it on my runt to train it made into pegs to hold the stems down
