Default drying room ?, can i dry the crop in homebox grow tent ?

    hi
i will hang up my plants to dry for 5- 10 days as every grower does .can i hang the plants in my homebox ? should i keep the fans turn on or off ? i have 2 fans.
active intake fan is 350m3/h and exhaust fan is 660m3/h .

and during hanging phase, is 28C temp a trouble ?

of course i will turn off the HPS while drying the crop.

how much air flow is need for drying ? i mean if i should keep my speeed contoller @ minimum level while drying ?

and about temp,i cant do anything about temp. temp and humidity are very high here. i can drop RH to 55% with a dehuey but this time temp peaks above 30C .

i can dry the crop in a different place with an AC unit to keep temp low, but this time i will have to dry them in a closed closet.i dont know if it is ok. can i dry them in a closed closet or a cardboard box without any air flow or just with oscillating fans ?

I would say that the extraction fan would work best at the top (more even air flow)

Temps and airflow can be pretty much whatever you want, higher temps/more air flow mean they will dry quicker but the slower dried it is the better it tastes. Just as long as humidity isn't high enough to cause bud rot you should be fine.

I hope you don't mind me adding a question of my own to your thread -
Would buds dry ok in a room without any extraction or fans? I ask because I usually dry my bud in my flowering room but that takes up the flowering room for a week or two and I would prefer just to get the next crop in there faster so was thinking of just hanging next crop in my bedroom.

as they dry they expell moisture which if left to build up will cause the Rh to go up and the probability of bud rot
if you're retired or you ain't got a job and you ain't growing and smoking weed ,i don't know what the fuck you are doing!

Don't mean to take over your thread charlesweedmore but just thought I would bump the thread and also add that my bedroom is fairly large and door and window would be kept open, so would it be ok just to hang bud up in there to dry?

how much air flows needed for drying ?
    360m3/h extractor too much ?
i can use it with speed contoller @ min speed and i can put a timer to run the fan ecvery other 15 min.
    is it good idea ?

To be honest, the drying side of things isn't that much of a science. As long as it's in a dark well venitlated area the buds will dry fine. My drying is done in the loft, where the extraction from my flower room vents.

i dried my 1st crop in my budbox with the fans on all the time, and it dried very quick, i think next time i will have the fans come on in small stages, because someone told me the longer it drys out the better it is,if that is true?
