Drying with the light on
I am getting close to harvest time and can see that one of my plants is going to ready for the chop about a week before the rest. Is it ok for me to chop it and leave it hanging in the groom while the other plants are finishing off? I have nowhere else set up with ventilation and a filter etc

It's not ideal mate but if needs must...
Some people say that light kills the THC but I've dried plants in the same grow-room with the light on and never noticed a difference.

Thanks for the replies, maybe I will try and think of an alternative. Maybe a cardboard box inside the groom

I've used a cardboard box with a few vent holes in it + string through the top to hang branches to dry on a couple of grows, works a treat, only problem is getting big enough boxes

I say leave it grow for longer then you'll have some lovely night time smoke not all this early chopped shit I gotta buy ATM that keeps me up but if you do decide to chop hang the whole plant up it will protect it from the light a bit and dry slower

Due to space issues I have a perpetual grow, this means drying mine above the light shade in the flower tent.
I've been doing this for 3 years or more, never had a problem with not being wasted.
Plus I read yesterday that a plant has not (technically) died until the vascular system has dried up and stop working. This can take up to 5 days.
So the plant s still trying to grow even after the chop has been made.
