Ok mate, its like this

Let's take the first topping at third node as a base for development, after that you need to keep topping at odd number (oposite one another) nodes for even nutrient distribution and to promote further stretching and you finish topping to second node to slow the stretch and promote bushing up..

Topping to odd numbered nodes seems to promote stretching and even numbered promote bushing as far as main-lining goes..

Also if you want a wider canopy top to every third node and if you need a tighter shape go for first node..

Much appreciated. That kinda sums it up I topped at 2nd node for 8 colas and think I'll leave it at that. Don't know about the little ak clone, might do a 2 cola and leave some extra branching.

Top image.. Red cherry berry on left with orig ak clone (now under dual spectrum 250w hps dimmed to 150w). Bottom image.. Original Ak under 125w cfl.

I could really do with a quick turnaround on one of these but dunno which to flip first. Any ideas welcome
