It take some working out initially but once you have it sorted its a breeze.
You will soon be pissing all over the oz per plant when you get a 600 watter.

Must be quite a big cabinet if you gonna use 600w. Looking forward to the update on this ... sounds really interesting.

I have thought of that. And its not going to be that big actually. I can't remember the exact measurements but its something like 33wX24dX66h. My cabinet I have now is smaller and I comfortably use a little over 300 watts and all I'm using is a booster fan. So I'm hoping (and will figure out) how to keep her cool. Plus even if I have to run her at 50-75% until I eventually get a few tents..... I'm cool with that. Haha. But regardless the plan is to have 2 600watts, HPS and MH, so that in a later time I will be able to GROW!!

Get very good extraction and fans in there then coz you don't wanna fry your babies. Sounds a bit small for 600w...but am no expert, it's just a big number for such small measurements.

Oh I will.!! Haha. I'm pushing 350watts or so now and its in a little bit smaller and half of the height cabinet. So if I run it at 50% for now or maybe 75% with a better in take fan, I should be good... but yeaa. Before I put my babies in the new cabinet I will make sure she stays at a good temp.

Also the hood I want should help:

Air cooled so that should help with the temp.

Light intensity shouldn't be an issue but definitely do a test run and monitor temps and humidity for a day or two..

Better to be safe than sorry mate

Thanks. I do have an air cooled hood for my 150watt hps now and it didn't take long to get her at a perfect temp so I'm hoping. And just a side note which will blow you away when I build it, this cabinet has been in the blue prints for over 2 years. Spent most the time researching different aspects and ideas to make it so efficient and perfect that I should have no problems. It will be sealed within itself so there will be no smell. Holes will be drilled I'm the bottom that will suck air out from the bottom of the cabinet but will be light sealed. The ballast for both will be hung behind the storage cabinet in a specialty built shelf so it will hide them and keep the hot ballasts off of the cabinet...... oh its going to be fucken perfect!!

Here's a sneak peak for you all on the cabinet blue prints. Just went over most of the details with the father in law to be. Should be done by Christmas or shortly after. But before o use it I want to paint it white on the inside (or order some mylar (which I think I probably will do instead)) and them stain the inside. But not to get into details and to leave that layer of mystery, here she is. With no explanation about her.

like I said, should be build soon and there will be plenty of pictures along the way.

Now on the girls. I got thinking last night. Basically I have dairy going on for my Purple TrainWreck but I'm going to kinda use that to complement my grow cycle. By that I mean, I've had them in there for a month or so. Once the clones root I will clone more first and stick the clones that just rooted under the T5s. That way I'll just say my other plants are a month old and in a month will be moving to flower. Then I have ones starting on their first month and some that were just cloned. That way my cycle will be started up until the second month of vegging. I was also thinking of throwing 2 of my bigger plants into flower now. I happen to have one that's been flowering for a month. That way I will be harvesting every month. Right now it will be minimum but its a start.

But not to confuse anyone, my focus for this forum will start with the 6 clones that are still rooting and then we will go threw the cycles together.

    Now the exciting part:

    ROOT PORN!
I actually have 2 that has a single root showing. I have in the past been excited and just thrown them into dirt and grew them, but they always seem to suffer when they just have the single root. At least for a few days and then once it fully starts to root they look great. So I'm going to ignore them for a say or so and then transplant them into dirt. Fr there I will let them sit under the 2 CFL's (I had 4 but too much heat and burnt some other plants) where they will slowly grow until all are rooted and put into dirt. From there they will all go under the T5s. !!
