    Default DIY aeroponic sysytem!

    hey guys so I am venturing into some hydroponics and why not do some aeroponics! so I am here is a list of the things I got to set it up, it will be a 4 pot setup

    -Botanicare 50gal easy drain res and lid as main res.
    -Botanicare 25gal res and lid as the top res with plants and root mass.
    -Eco 2200gph pump for the spray bars
    -Eco 1/4 hp chiller
    -Hydrologic stealth ro
    -Bluelab guardian monitor
    -Eco commercial 5 air pump
    -3 8" air stones
    -4 6" net pots and white lids

    I will post up some pics as I build it and the parts that it consist of

    Ok guys so I got the line for the pump and spray bars set aswell as the return/ overflow line set

    good stuff, bit of a risk going aeroponics on first hydro grow though, just watch the sprayers for blockages etc, good luck

    I got it for 150 but my buddy owns a hydro shop so I get it at cost. Think they retail for 300

    Looks good! I just built a similar setup. I am about to redo a few things now that I've completed one run. It would be cool to keep tabs on the grows. I am going to start a White Russian grow in a week once I get the shed cleaned out from the last one. You may have issues with roots plugging up the drain, the things get big lol. I have a 2" drain with pump discharge up through the center. This time I'm going to try a drainage matt on the bottom of the upper tray with another 2" drain. I'm hoping that would also help with the beenie tea I add. I was finding that the girls did well with a continuos spray so I need constant drainage. With the mat I may reduce spray times. Also I found that I had to run a pretty hot (EC) res. Are you using the air to keep res moving?
