Default Chopping the tops then re-nutrient-ing the pots and growing out the remaining buds?

Looking at my plants, theres a significant portion of the buds that perhaps if thrown back in to growth for a week might develop significantly. Obviously Ive flushed already so the whole plant is ready to come down but I'm thinking of putting the nutrients straight back in and growing out the rest for a week or so. The only immediate draw back I see is just having the relief of getting them down and done with. Will my plants be alive enough? Will the buds develop to a worth while extent?

    Any thoughts? thanks

I would not put newts back in there, I would just keep giving it water, they will still swell up a bit with just water.
