Great advice. I hope I never have to use any of these methods. But good to know they are there just in case

Can we get a sticky on this please?
Has anyone used a natural predator such as persimilis predatory mites to control Red Spider Mites?
Depending on how far advanced the plant is would it still be ok to a use spray?
Hello all, I can confirm that the combo affect of 5EC, Floramite & Avid has destroyed the little bastards.
To be honest though , I could probably have done without the Floramite as after the Avid I hadn't seen a live mite in 7 days, but the Floramite would have picked up the stragglers if there were any.
I would highly recommend all three of the above mentioned Miticides & would also recommend a three pronged attack.
Thanks for looking peeps.
Loki.

Avid is basically "Abamectin" thats the same stuff in Harkers Harka Mectin which is for treating pigeons for lice, but its more concentrated....Many mites in the Uk are resilient to it now. Its just a matter of finding the right compound for the bastard things. I used the Harkers on mine, the fuckers had a piss up on it and when into party mode LOL...It was prob just to weak though....Got em with the floramite though and turned the party in to a wake
