    Rubbermaid containers are storage containers used a lot in the states for all kinds of stuff like extra clothes. I'm sure you guys haves something like that. They come with a lid.

    Run to waste makes sense to me otherwise you would keep having to adjust the reservoirs EC?

    Yeah but get this...Say for example you plant/s use more N than P & K and your topping your rez up then you have an imbalance because the P & K will then become more concentrated in the rez, this imbalance only gets rectified when you do a rez change, this also applies to the micros. Also roots are a two way street, they don't only draw up the water & nutrients they also secrete excess feed and toxins back into the medium effecting Ph & Ec. When you run to waste each feed is fresh with the correct NPK and micro ratios so you dont have to try and guess what your plants need for any given stage of growth....
