    Default Mouldy Soil

Hi guys tried twice now to start new grows and no joy...I am using purple trainwreck beans and I only have 6 left (I use 8 at a time). Both times I have used tissue paper on a saucer, both times most of the seeds pop but start to go mouldy straight away. The few that make it through then went mouldy in the soil...any ideas what could be causing this? I use a heat pad propogator after they pop to try to help them too

At a guess I would say both the tissue paper & soil were too wet... but that's just a guess...

Could it possibly be a dirty location where you germinated the seeds? Mold spours can get a foot hold and can grow anywhere with the right conditions. Possibly use Lysol and spray and thouroly clean area you germinating and growing in.

    Is your soil completely composted?
