Default Planting seeds in Peat pellets

im currently soaking my peat pellets in phd water so tomorrow im gonna plant my seeds in them, the last lot i did, i germinated b goin into rockwool but i wanna try this method now instead.
Problem is i dunno what to do, i know i have to
    *Soak Peat pellets 24hrs
*Place seed in about 1 8th into the peat pellet once its expanded into a peat bag thingy
then i havent got a clue.
If anybody would be kind enough to help that be much appreciated

do i water it then leave in a warm dry place, do i keep watering?
when i have a shoot showing through, is that when i add light?

Ive watched George Cervantes vid but he jumps from planted germed seed straight to 2 inch tall seedling, no mention of lights or water.
    Thanx all

I don't know about 24 hours of soaking I normaly soak them for about 2 to 3 mins but perhaps I'm wrong? After puting the seed in I put them in a propergator and when the seedling shows I lift them up near the lid of the prop and put the flo tubes as close as possible to the top without touching I only water sparingly as it is humid in there so not much needed. I don't feed until they get potted up or in my case go into a 4" rockwool cube ready for flood and drain.

I'd do your seeds the tissue method way (look at my WW sig).

When your seed pops and you see the tap root, make a little hole in your peat pellet (bout 1/4 inch) pop the seed in, tap root down.

Keep the pellet moist (not soaking wet) either in a propagator or clear plastic tub until the seed bursts through the surface, then under light. I then spray with a little formulex for about a fortnight.

Nearly forgot.. When the roots show through the peat pellet, pot up to small pot with seedling/cutting compost.. Most people use John Innes 1, although I use Levingtons.
