Very interesting read! Was about to go with Biobizz.

How would I got about checking how hard or soft my water is? Would a water softener help this?

You can check online with your water company, they'll tell you all about the water they supply you

Water softeners - steer well clear, they will cause more issues than they solve

Are you suggesting that uk growers should only use nutrients formulated for uk water? lol, bio bizz is one of easiest nutrients to use fish mix and bloom all you need

Well I just checked my water quality on Scottish Water website. I'm moderately Hard water area, always though I was soft water. Maybe explains all the grief I've had with Biobizz products.
