    Default Volcano alternative

Hello everyone, I wonder if anybody can help me. Iv given up tobacco today. Last week I bought my very first vaporizer. It's been ok but already I want something a little more refined. It was only 30 quid and has analogue adjustable temps but I feel like I'm not getting the most out of it. My question is what's the best cheaper alternative to the extortionate volcano. I jus can't afford that. But I want a good vaporizer with digital temp display so I know what chems I'm releasing. Any help be much appreciated. I'd be happy to spend 100 ish. And ideas as vaping is all new to me.
Begginers luck is on my side. For now. I hope.

I've got the arizer extreme q as a volcano alternative. On the positive side it has a whip and you can get nice dense vapes. On the negative side it takes a good 5 minutes to get warmed up.

If you want the bags it will do those also. Passing around a big bag may be fun with friends but it gets old fast if not.
The arizer solo makes a good dense vape and heats up quicker, plus it's cordless.

Thanks I will look into that. At the moment I seem to be consuming alot of stash with my new vaporizer. Thought it would be more efficient. I have to do about 0.5 a time to get a good dense vape as you say. Is this normal. Also can you show me a pic of what the weed should look like after being vaped. Sorry to be a pain but I don't want to give in and go back to tobacco.

So I'm obviously missing out here with my 30 quid piece of poo vaporizer. Maybe I still haven't properly experienced a vape yet.

I like to vape my weed hot and fast. The following plug is from my davinci ascent.

The dense vapes come from conduction vaporizers packed tight. The davinci oven heats all around by conduction and is very dense. I understand the pax ploom is the same.

The extreme q with bags is a weeker vape unless you warm it up a good long time to heat the glass that holds your weed, that gives a conduction effect.

The arizer solo heats in 90 seconds although it gets the most dense if you heat it about 150 seconds. That's because it is conduction on the bottom and in time that heats the glass tube so you get 3 sides of conduction.

Since your going through your stash I recommend the solo. It's a good solid vape for the price.

Can anybody tell me how to get a good vape from a top vapour vp500. I can't afford to upgrade just yet. And I'm on day 2 of no tobacco so don't want to have to smoke a joint.

So if this picture is correct
It looks like the heat comes from the base of that stand under the dome.

I would try to grind your weed fine and put a weight like a bolt or something on top to compact the weed. You could even heat the bolt in the oven if needed. Another thing I might try would be packing it in foil on top of that stand and making a few small holes for vapor to escape.

With that type of vape long slow draws will get you high, it will come on slower.
