    Beeeeeautiful out there today . 14° at the moment ,supposed to climb up to 20° later on .

    Tempted to sow lettuce ,peas ,carrots,onions and my potatoes out in the garden this weekend . My garlic is doing fantastic .

    Frosts ,but the thrive well in cold ,plus i got a 3-4" layer of hay and straw on them Cornman hehe . Weve had +20's for the past week with rain and i gsve em a good shot of compost tea last week .

    With the length of your winter and low temps I would have thought your ground would freeze to quite a deapth, it seems not. Yes, garlic will survive the cold and your mulch would have slowed a lot. Very dark soil you have there.

    is looking quite promising is a bit warmer and is brightening up, one day it will be the last day of cold weather till back end of the year.

    Everyday it's cold and grey, except the three days of summer we usually get.
    Looks like i'll be staying in.
