Frozen bottle job is a fucking ball ache constantly chasing temps did my head in its not practical it all but you need to get temps Down to 18c. Best thing I did was buy a chiller. Will make your grow a lot less stressful bro. I was pulling my hair out over temps before I got mine

Will i see an increase in my yields by having a constant 18°C res? I've had a quick look online at them. Might have a look on the bay too.

It's about keeping your roots healthy, the roots are the heart of the plant. This temp is the best for roots as its the temp that holds optimal amount of oxygen. Warm red temps will cause root rot to cold and will shock your plants. Look after your roots and the plant will love you for it.

How many litres you wanting to cool? Can't go wrong with hailea I have a 300a and its spot on. No you pump the water from your res into the chiller then have a return from chiller back to res. so you will need a pump too mate.

Do you have a pump in the chiller too or just out the res to the chiller? Then it over flows back into the res? Maximum I will ever hold in my res is 100L

Insulate your buckets with bubble wrap and an outer layer of reflective mylar style material, and you'll be able to retain the temperatures much much longer !
