So far they are all looking similar. I have separated them in the images best i can with the differences i can see.

the pic with two in ,, they seem to be the bushier, the lower branches seem to have more of a u than a v
the smaller of the single image is the shortest, few less nodes
the other single is the one that smelt ealier on, more sativa i think and the only plant from the 7 which has started to asymmetrical branches
the pic with three in,, these are like the bushy two but the braches are growing up in a more v like pattern

other than that nothing much to say, very early signs of preflower all at about 12 nodes apart from the small runt

will be 6 weeks tommorrow,, dunno whether to give it a week or flip em to 12 12 and see what happens

quite impressed so far given that soil not exactly great,, very rough first look really and only 7 plants, bit early to say anything really but they look happy and seem to have decent growth rate, in better soil or hydro I'd say it would be interesting.

Well I slapped them into dark for 36 hours, as couldnt wait any longer to spot an auto,, anyway tommorrow will be day 7 since switch to 12/12

Got a few hairs on some,, all very similar, the single plant is the biggest so just took a couple of cuttings off that one.

The others are growing in a really neat fashion not as bushy as the single one shown but still same number of nodes.

Smell wise, when the lights first come on its sweet afgani heaven but once lights heat up smell is more subtle and sativia like,, a few are more noticeable when others but Im sensing regardless of the smell something of use could be in these,, if nothing else they look ok hahaha I actually think the ones that dont smell as much may actually proove to be useful more medically than the others but of course this is all wild hopeful speculation haha

Really cant wait for this first trial to finish so can access and see whats of worth

    so excited

Anyway so far the tallest is at 28 inchs from top of pots (6litre organic grow)

I had hoped to get rid of the height and strechcy from the compassion,, so far im hopefull but it could all go mental the next 14 days,, prob gonna have to get a bigger area to work with as would like not to have these clustered in such a small hole.

Would probably scrog good with all these branches, loads more than i saw on the compassion parent and that liked a scrog.

I started to panic they were going to get to tall so i savaged the tops on all of them, twelve hours later most were standing straight up laughing at me, the ones that got more savaged are buckled but they are just laughing at me too. most are at 104 cm from the top of the pot, two maybe 10 cm shorter.

I am not good at this really or havent been so great in the past but working with these so far is quite good they all seem to be quite happy, personally i dont think i have enough space but nicely most of these seem to have grown in a formation with the branches just growing in a nice v rather than branches all over which is what tended to happen with the compassion parent for me but so far happy to not see much of that.

pretty consistent growth with all branches, just chopped a few bottoms off as to many plants in the areas, not enough light getting down there really.

I dont really want to make any rush judgements but they do seem very sativa but with the branch growth of the indica parent. If they could just stay about the same height, and just get crazy fat plus have a beneficial effect when smoked I'll have pretty much achieved what i set out to.

I'm looking for a much more solid bud formation and substantially better yields than previously achieved with compassion alone.

    anyway fingers crossed.

So at this stage im wondering should i just self these F1's if the smoke turns out to be worthy of a legend haha 6 or more weeks to go yet , they are smelling more and more so glad I have the filter.

The images above are from today which is the start of week 5 12/12

Height wise not doing so bad as around 1.1 metres with 1 plant shorter than the res by 10 cm however set off in larger pots I can see this being very happy.

Smells starting to develop nicely now and I suspect it will be pretty supreme by the time its harvested.

I'm pretty hopeful but next few weeks will be interesting,, if they carry on getting fatter this will perhaps be the best grow ive ever done,, have a good feeling about this and can honestly say i hope i get time to explore a bunch of these seeds to find something that bit exceptional.

These 7 should provide a little insight at least but I can see why it takes so long to select as really you need to get a better idea of the plant and any subtle differences in the effects, taste, growth and stuff.

This really is a half arsed attempt really so im surprised they are doing so well, It gives me hope that under better conditions they could be very special indeed, certainly the happiest ive seen em but maybe im getting better at it as well but really i doubt that hahaha
