Default Dutch Passion, Think Different, 1200W LED grow........

Morning all, I haven't got the time to be doing a diary but I thought I'd share what I'm up to. First grow indoors this one, I've grown outside a few times but every one has succumbed to the rot. Never had the opportunity to grow indoors before because the Mrs. wouldn't stand for it but she's packed up and f**ked off
    After many late nights reading this and other forums and gathering as much info as I could I've set myself up as follows;

    1.5 x 1.5 grow tent
Super Helios 6 1152 watt LED light
    5" RVK extraction fan
    5" Rhino Pro filter
    16 litre smart pots x 9
    Plagron Batmix
    Dutch Passion, Think Different auto's
    Smart organic CO2 BAG
    Mycorrhizal Inoculant
Biobizz Grow, Bloom & Topmax nutes

Anyway, I germed the seeds using the paper towel method and once they were showing the tap root they went straight into the 16L pots. By the way, a handfull of potting compost was dug into the centre of each pot so the Batmix wasn't too harsh on the seedlings. My girls are today on day 23 of life and are going great guns. Started with the Biobizz last week and they had a full feed two days ago. Not a touch of nute burn. It might get a bit crowded with nine of em in there but if the worst comes to the worst I can always take some out.....

As you can see, there's a couple that have stretched a bit more than the others but compared to an outdoor grow these girls are flying, wish I'd an indoor grow under my belt to compare.

I'll update in a week or so when I've got time, spending too much time at the coalface

I've been through a couple of breakups that left me devastated and bewildered. If I'd have had a project to get on with such as "grow 9 cannabis plants" it would have helped enormously.

The upside is when in the future you meet a new woman - who'll no doubt love that amazing bud you're pulling out of your pocket every five minutes - she won't be able to nag you about growing: "you've known this about me since day one baby".

Hello mate, just stumbled on your grow so thought I'd pop in and say high. I also got a Helios pro but only the 4. I'll also be growing in the same 16l fabric pots. Your tent is looking great and all plants look awesome. Good luck with it 👍🏻

Breakups suck but we should be able to enjoy our lives without the nagging other halfs disapproval. My wife has given me her blessing as long as I don't speak to her about it so it doesn't jeopardise her job. But my two previous ex's practically tried to force me to stop smoking...

Anyways great grow dude, I'll keep an eye on the fun

    Peace OM

I'd love to see how these lights do. Affordable Bridgelux COBs? Almost too good to be true.

The Super Helios 1200W looks interesting.
Really keen to see how you get on with it and Think Different.

I'm sure this will be a great grow.

Default I plucked all day an' all night an' all afternoon......

    Quick update.....
Day 33, Oil filled heater's gone (It was too big) to be replaced a 4' tube heater. Temp's holding no problem even with this cold snap. The girls are getting a full feed every other watering and they're all into flower.

Default He used to cut the grass, He was a very nice boy.....

    Day 45.....
Tent's full to the brim and although I wouldn't put this many in there again, I'm not really seeing any problems.
While the girls were vegging the humidity was averaging between 60-70% which was fine but knowing that I'd have to bring it down for flowering I bought a small dehumidifier which can be adjusted to the desired humidity level....Well, in theory it was supposed to but it didn't seem to be having the desired effect so I shelled out on a larger slimline model with a compressor so I can really get the percentage levels down towards the end of flower. Funnily enough, the smaller model is still in there as the humidity has dropped to between 50-55% with a bit of a spike when the girls are watered. Not what I expected with more leaves breathing but there you go. Perhaps someone might be able to explain this?

Anyway, Here's a few pics......Even though I never finished a plant growing outside it's hard not to end up consumed with this hobby. Obviously, now I'm playing God my chances of success have greatly increased and the excitement levels are going through the roof. Nice for this time of year because Xmas depresses me.

Default Just get me wasted An' you're half-way there.....

    Day 51,
The girls have had a water and a feed this morning, picked off a few dead leaves and gave them a shuffle. They're all well into flower but I've got two that aren't really producing many trichomes compared to the others.....Click image for larger version.

I'm putting it down to them just being a bit behind the others and both have taken prime spots under the sun.

I'm trimmed away much of the rubbish underneath all on my girls and with space at a premium there's quite a bit of tucking and manipulating going on but as it goes I don't think they look too bad...Click image for larger version.

Temperatures are stable, 25-26 degree's lights on, down to 19-20 degree's lights off and humidity is averaging about 50%. still got the smaller dehumidifier in and will change to the larger one when the buds start to fill out a bit.

Default With a tongue like a cow she could make you go wow.....

Day 64 from seed. The bigger dehumidifier is in and humidity is between 39-45 %. The nine plants I have in the tent have taken up every available inch. Way too many for the space but you live and learn. I would have thought that with space being at a premium that the yield will suffer due to the light having limited penetration but saying that, I don't think they look too bad for a first attempt........

Dug my mini microscope out today to check the trichomes but the batteries were just about flat, couldn't get out due to having to wait in for a delivery so I'll get some new batteries tomorrow so I can have a proper butchers. I'm going to feed them up till next Tuesday and then just give them plain water for the last couple of weeks up till harvest. The buds on these girls are covered in crystals but there is very little in the way of smell when you open the tent up. I've read of another grower say the same thing growing Think Different, he mentioned that it wasn't up untill a couple of days before the chop that they actually started to give off any smell of note.

Looking forward to my next grow there are already a few things I'd do differently. I'll be growing auto's again, as with outside temps being low I've found it quite easy to control the temperatures inside. I'll have a go at some photo's when it gets warmer. I'm looking at an alternative soil, I've used Plagron batmix this time round but does it really make such a difference when supplementing the grow with nutrients? It's not exactly cheap is it! I'm also looking at Old Timers Plant Magic rather than the Biobizz nutes. The more I read about PM the more I seem to be impressed. I'll also supplement this with their root stimulator and bio silicone. I've also been using one of these Smart CO2 bags. How do you know if it's producing CO2? For all I know I could be hanging a bag of cat litter in my tent.
Anyroads, I'm weed free till I harvest but have a couple of bottles of Armagnac from my daughter to keep me going till then.....All the best everyone
