    Default EC levels

Hi, after major problems with my water supply (pH levels)I now have the water sorted.
I invested in a proper pH meter and an EC meter.
I only have a small home made set up using NFT. with a 125w CFL
Currently the pH is 5.8 and the EC is 1.1. my 3 small plants don't look well though (see pics)
    they are 4 weeks old.
Has anyone got any advise as to what I'm doing wrong ?

What is the background EC of your water (so we know what the EC of the feed itself is)
It's Not What You Know, It's What You Can Prove

Hi, the EC of the water is 0.1 before any adjustment to pH level, which is 7.8

That would give a feed EC of 1.0 which seems a lot for the size of the plants...

Ok, so I've over fed them then, will it be better to change the water completely to maybe half of the feed dose ? or water down the existing with correct pH water /
