    Default How much denatured alcohol for 1.6ltrs green frozen bud

    I have approximately 1.6ltrs of green frozen bud from my last grow. I want to make some oil. Anybody know how much alcohol I'll need? Thanks!

    Don't use denatured alcohol. Denatured alcohol is ethanol with a poison usually methanol, Namptha or paint thinner.

    Use Everclear or 99% ISO.

    I can't answer the question as I have always done BHO but plus one on don't use denatured alcohol... wiki it & you'll see why

    Dude . Moonshine . Whiskey . Vodka is all ethanol .same as.the fuel ethanol . Ethanol is consummable . All made.from.corn or equivalent .

    I would use ethanol over any ISO any day . The cost is the barrier .

    You can use any alcohol . Even Naphta .acetone even its pure and barely any additives . . As.long as when it evaporates there are no.residues left.on your finger .

    Stay away from automobile fuels as they contain many anti knock additives . Pure poison . At.least with denatured and wood.alcohol everything evaportaes and is jo.more.or.less.poisononous then ISO
