    Default Quick fix/solution for leak?

    Hi all, hope you have had a good Xmas so far, so as the title says would anyone have any ideas on like a fast drying silicon or spray that I can get Tomorow its for one of my tank connectors I'm a good way into veg and can't leave the system without water for too long and it's rdwc the leak is where the conector meets the tank many thanks in advance, have a great weekend

    Leak sealer is really good and cures with water. You can get it in most DIY stores

    I've never done dwc system but gutter sealant is good it's like a black liquid tar and sticks like shit to a blanket , just my 2p worth

    Do you mean the threaded bit which goes through then a nut goes on the other side? black plastic?

    If so wrap some PTFE plumbers tape around the thread, then screw the nut on tight as you can and give it half a turn with some molegrips.

    Hey gman thanks bro but it's the bit that actually pushes up against the useful box I glued it all too so can't even take it apart lol I need to see how quiuick im loosing water now tbh thanks again brother

    Can you get some JB Weld where your located it is an epoxy they have some putty that is designed for underwater cure and adhesion
    I used some this summer to fix a cracked radiator it worked very well

    Everything above works but strongest of them all is tec7 and if you wanna go extra safe then go to the pet shop and get aquarium silicone as there's no nasty chemicals what might leak back into water.
