Hi mate, the ones I bought don't seem to be hot enough.

Says on the box max heat 200c

Followed the info here, gave it a 30 second press and fuck all is happening.

200c + should be perfect for it, i have seen on youtube people usein 180c an pressin longer ect, r u puttin ur full weight onto it wen pressin?

Just tried again for about a minute.

This time I was standing on it and the end result was a microscopic dot.

Maybe the bud has not fit lots resin on it ? Need to do s few more buds maybe

Try some grinder skiff

Yea best i found was crystal in grinder to get decent bits from it, just make like a wee pocket for the crystal to go in then put between the parchment paper,


I done afew run there will get pics up nothin special like but a done a bud run a crystal run an abit of my first shake dry ice run,

An yea as face said sumtime sum strains dont produce well, happend to me that gettin decent bits from the trifle so trued another type an got none lol its all in the strain i think

The dense nuggets can't be extracted as well without the micron screen. A bit like a tea strainer.

Or your travel irons have a shit temp control and is lying to you

I recon your doing it right but the resin is just redistributing itself around the dead plant matter. Everywhere says different results from different strains. If you bud is quality then I wouldnt waste anymore trying just play about with different strains

Rosin ahhhh rosin....I've been totally and utterly in love with the stuff since last summer, flower rosin it's the tastiest but you need the right strain to get good results. Here's some White Triangle Rosin I just pressed from cured flowers.


I press at 100c for 10 seconds, 1 press per bud, I could press more out but the flavour isn't as good and I like to leave some juice in the pressed nugs so I can use it for Coconut oil. Tools I use are cheap Remington hair straighteners, IR thermometer, hand clamp and good quality parchment paper, Raw is by far the best...don't scrimp on the paper the cheap stuff can leach nasties into your Rosin.

I also press the bubble hash I make,I dry the bubble in chunks then press in an unbleached tea bag.
