Cheers for that buddy, its good to know. I've again checked all the leaves and there is no sign of eggs or damage etc so it just seems to be some kinda flies in my box - luckily they are not effecting the grow and maybe just feeding on the soil. When my grow is complete I will fumigate my PC Grow Box and cover my take fan with a fly net to avoid any getting inside in the future.

So I know, what product is best to use to fumigate my PC Grow Box?

Raid fly spray, spray the flys an a quick squirt under your pots.
    Sticky strips.

Sharp sand is a must as it worked for me.put sharp sand ontop of
Your soil an inch will do.wash it in water first.
When they hatch an try an break ground the sand cuts thier wings
They can't fly an die.also the sand suffocates the eggs an larvae.

The sand will help give it a go.

I started my current grow with sand and I've had about 3 flys.
Normally I'd have loads dead and a load buzzing about!.
    But I have none

I find a healthy layer of clay pebbles work best. With sand, you'll displace it when you water, whereas the stones keep everything in place. An added bonus is that the pebbles lowers the RH because the soil isn't exposed as much.

Aren't there big gaps in the clay pebbles for the bugs to get through?

I have pebbles of various sizes, and I put a healthy layer in 1/2 - 1 inch, plus they are rough pebbles.

tons of great tips here, thanks all! I got some different strips and a couple have got stuck to them but nothing overwhelming. If I am honest in the last 4/5 days there is hardly any now, not sure why this is but it may be due to a temperature drop also the humidity has increased no there is more plant in there etc
