Hate leaving them for more than 2 days my ph fires by 6.2 in that time n usually after 2 days I notice differences. ...I check twice a day if not busy but at least once every 2 if I am busy......you want ph within range or problems begin basically n that could take as long as the plant wants I suppose...but that's what I stick to just to get to know it ....I always feel as if I'm confusing lol don't mean it mate hope it helps

By as long as the plant wants I'm meaning for it to be feeding n causing the ph to drift. Could take it 3 days to drift from 5.8-6.2 or even 4 or 2.....I hope I'm right lmao

Hydro is quite broad, but as long as they get fed regular I would t see it as a problem.
It's just your ph and ec that tend to drift!
One problem if they're big plants with a lot of root mass is the plant can get thirsty and drink a lot of the water leaving a high ec!
And the ph can drift out of range.
I did a grow in clay pebbles where I used to leave them a lot, it went ok but was a pain in the Arse not been able to maintain things, and what if something goes wrong while your away?
So I decided to go back to soil, you can get away without watering a plant in soil for four or five days depending on plant and container size ( can vary)
There was a guy I was speaking to on here the other day who is a coco grower and he was telling me he did it regular, so it can be done!

I work away from home on a week on week off roster 2000km from where I live I fly to work every week then fly home it's a fantastic life style, I grow in expanded clay ,constant recirculation system , I have 2 tanks .. My main res tank is 150 Ltrs I set that at EC 2 and ph 5.8 my second tank is 200 ltr , this is my top up tank that'll gravity feed on a float system to keep main res topped up full all the time, I set the EC 1.5 and the PH 5.5 . I run an air stone in both tanks, when I arrive home most times my PH is between 5.8 -6 and my EC is around 2 depends on what stage of growth or flower they are in it varies but I adjust my top up tank to alow for what stage it's in keeping it in the zone I want..
