I don't even have rhizotonic for my first ever coco grow. Will get some for my clones/second coco adventure. Was told not to bother but I will now.
To be honest the growth difference between soil and coco is quite notable anyway. Root madness with this coco I've found!

    Root nutrients confuse me.

What’s the difference if any between canna rhizotonic, cx regenaroot and Dutch pro take root?

The ingredients differ in each but essentially my understanding is they all do a similar thing...

    rhizotonic is algal based
take root contains auxins (plant hormones that stimulate cellular elongation)
regen-a-root contains the precursors (the building blocks) of auxins

It's hard to tell exactly as none of the companies list the exact ingredients and you always have to take their marketing spiel with a pinch of salt. A lot of the guys on here use rhizotonic - it's tried and tested, I've just got a sample bottle of regen-a-root but i'm two weeks into flower so hard to know whether it's making any difference. They're root 'tonics', they help build and maintain a healthy root system. What they won't do is establish a mycorrhizal colony in your medium creating a symbiotic relationship with your roots, for that you need Great White, Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice or Plant Magic Granules (to name but a few). Mycorrhizae massively increase the surface area of your root colony which enhances nutrient uptake and absorption, speeding and improving growth, maintaining plant health, etc.

Dirt growers will have a head start as the mycorrhizae will already be there. In coco or water culture you have to add them.

You have to separate root ecology into the roots themselves, the media they're in and then the relationship between the roots and mycorrhizal colonies that establish themselves with the roots.
